About Kevin & Janelle

Kevin and Janelle Smith are currently pre-field missionaries with Northwest Baptist Missions for the field of Winnemucca, Nevada. In the west they will be joining an established missionary team to help with evangelistic outreach opportunities, children’s church, and discipleship of believers.

Janelle was raised in a Christian home in Salt Lake City, Utah and has a family history of missionary service, as both sets of grandparents were missionaries to the Mormons in that region. Kevin has a background in wildland fire fighting and underground mining before following Christ’s leading to serve in ministry.
